A Canadian Doctor by the name of Ken Walker decided to write about a patient of his and 2 of her children. Here is what he had to say:
“{she will be condeming her kids} to be stared at as a freak of nature as long as they live.
“Physically they are destined for ill health, lying on their backs forever. They will become obese and develop the myriad of diseases that accompany this problem. Their lives will be a living hell,”
He said in the article that he believed the mother should have aborted these children. These girls are twins and their names are Tatiana and Krista. They are joined at the head and at 7 months old are developing normally. According to their Grandmother:
“We figured that doctors take oaths to preserve lives,” she said. “He obviously hasn’t been keeping track of their progress. They’ve been sitting up, eating and playing like any seven-month-old child does. Of course, people are going to have their opinion, but this is a doctor.”
There is even an internet death pool where people have bet money on how long these girls will live.
It’s a good thing we are a civilized society. Imagine what would have happened if these twins had down’s syndrom! The internet death pools would be wagering when Canada would be legalizing euthenasia.
Maybe that is what it will take for this society to wake up and realize that we are belittleing the lives a children. And why? So we can write an article and get published? So we can win a bet? These are children. It’s the adults that need to do the growing up.
