Sex abuse cover up.

By Valerie Jane | May 13, 2007

I decided to do a bit of research on how the media presented the Planned Parenthood civil lawsuit.  Since this is the second lawsuit filed against this particular Planned Parenthood the news should be all over this.  Underage girls are being severely neglected by the very people who claim to advocate for women’s rights.  I guess women don’t have the right to be protected against sexual abuse.

Let’s do a brief history.  Atty Brian Hurly is representing two girls who have been named Roe and Doe in court documents.  Roe was 14 when she was forced to have an abortion by the 21 year old soccer coach who was molesting her.  He went with her and paid for the abortion.  Planned Parenthood did not even investigate why an unrelated 21 year old was helping a 14 year old get an abortion.  Doe is a girl who was sexually abused by her father for 5 years and was forced to get an abortion at Planned Parenthood.  She told workers about the abuse, but they didn’t www.torridge.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=7105make any report.  They gave her the abortion and sent her home with birth control pills.

Now for evidence:

In the Roe case, a Planned Parenthood “Documentation Form for Suspected Sexual or Child Abuse Report” says:

“Patient reports pregnancy is a result of sexual assault by a stranger.”

“After consultation with (Planned Parenthood) attorney, report of a crime to the police was not made; due to physician-patient privilege, we are prohibited from reporting as no severe bodily injury was reported.”

However prosecutors in 4 local counties have never heard of this exception.  Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel said that if this were the case, virtually no abuse would be reported.  Hutzel is also considering criminal prosecution depending on the evidence that is revealed in the civil case.

In the Doe case there is evidence of a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.  This evidence was verified by the agencies trainer and is in her hand writing.  There is also the fact that Doe’s father has been convicted of sexual misconduct and is serving 5 years in jail, proof of the abuse.

Now, based on the limited facts on these cases that I have found, the media should be all over this.  Look at how they went nuts over the Duke Lacrosse case.  When women are being abused, the media go into a frenzy.
