Abortion = The Leading Cause of Death in America

Definitions:
Life – the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional plant or animal from a dead body: a state of living characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction
Death - the irreversible cessation of all vital functions especially as indicated by permanent stoppage of the heart, respiration, and brain activity : the end of life
2004 – The cause and number of total deaths (abortion compared to top 5 causes of death)
*Abortion - 839,226 (35%)
Diseases of the heart – 652,486 (27%)
Malignant Neoplasms – 553,888 (23%)
Cerebrovascular Diseases – 150,074 (6%)
Chronic Lower respiratory Disease – 121,987 (5%)
Accidents – 112,012 (4%)
There were 186,740 more hearts stopped by abortion than by heart disease.
*There are 52 reporting area’s – 50 states plus Washington D.C. and NYC – in 2004 only 47 areas reported.

Diseases of the heart – 565,703 (33%)
Malignant Neoplasms – 478,134 (28%)
*Abortion – 312,233 (18%)
Cerebrovascular Diseases – 127,868 (8%)
Chronic Lower respiratory Disease – 112,914 (7%)
Accidents – 95,890 (6%)

Black:
*Abortion - 209,603 (54%)
Diseases of the heart – 74,225 (19%)
