Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world.

What does “2 Seconds Faster” mean?
Next time you go driving look around you. Why is everyone talking on their cell phone? Why can’t they wait until they get to their destination to call? How about all the people who just couldn’t leave their house on time and are now in a complete panic about being late? They are yelling and screaming at everyone with the window’s rolled up, weaving in and out of traffic putting everyone’s life at risk. This is because we have to have everything 2 seconds faster than what we did yesterday. We must be faster, work faster, talk faster and then wonder why we are miserable with uncontrolled lives.
The “2 Seconds Faster” philosophy is to be honest and upfront which means we will let you know if any of our research is from biased information. This does not apply to articles based around our own personal feelings and belief’s.
Our Authors:
Valerie Jane -
Hello all! I am the statistical geek of the bunch! My goal is to educate everyone on the truth and in order to do this I promise to follow the 2 Seconds Faster philosophy
I will provide up to date political information and stories that identify the world as being 2 Seconds Faster.
I have two beautiful children that some say are in the special needs category. I say they aren’t special needs - they are just attention deficient and verbally dysfunctioned. I did request perfect children from God, however I’ve never been happier that He didn’t listen to me. I find I get ignored quite often from The Big Guy Upstairs, and I’m usually better off!
I am also owned by two giant breed dogs. They have me very well trained.
The children think it is fun to have dogs they can ride in the house! I’m still trying to figure out how the dogs can have me trained yet my children can have them trained.
I am proud to admit that I am a conservative Pro-Life Mom and will go to bat for the voiceless. But be forewarned - According to my sisters I have the ability to think inside out, which can cause dizzyness and confusion. You might want to refrain from driving heavy machinery after reading my articles.

MK-
Hi. I’m MK, the other one. I’m the mother of six kids, 5 boys/1 girl, ages 29 thru 8. I also have two grandchildren. I reverted to the Catholic Faith some 18 years ago. I was raised Catholic but had lost my way…big time. I’m “home” now, and loving it.
I love all things Catholic. My favorite Catholic Authors are G.K.Chesterton, Peter Kreeft, Bishop Fulton Sheen, Scott Hahn and even tho he isn’t technically Catholic, C.S.Lewis. I love to read and usually have 5 or 6 books going at a time.
I love camping, (still can’t convince Val tho), Irish/Folk music, gardening, movies (Oh how I love the silver screen), dogs, humor and lemmings. Musn’t forget the lemmings.
I have one dog (I’d have two, but Gracie won’t cooperate), a collie mix, 6 gerbils, and a bunny.
I have been called a bulldozer, passionate, strong and pushy. I like to think I’m misunderstood. ;-) A friend of mine calls me Tilly which is short for Atilla the Hun. Whatever you call me, you’ll always know where I stand.
I’ll be posting on stuff that has a Catholic bent, as well as running the book club. With Vals permission, I’ll also throw in a movie/book review now and then. Hey, Michael Medved does it!
My goal is to open up the lines of communication, educate, laugh and make new friends. We might not always agree, but I solemnly promise to be respectful (I make no promises about sarcasm), and listen to your side.
So let’s get gabbin’!

Stu is the quiet one. He is so quiet, I (Valerie Jane) couldn’t get him to write anything on this section. Stu is the Webmaster of the blog, and my hubby!
It is rare that he will write his own articles, however I have a category called “The Thoughts of Stu” which are based around conversations we’ve had.
Stu is a hard core conservative. He thinks Rush Limbaugh is far too liberal to be on the radio and is looking for a compound in Montana to move to.
Joking! I think……. hmmm……
